Today my dad "retouched" an interesting specimen. An old ex-commandant of U-Boat, with the number #917 tattoed on his arm + the runes of the SS and an old svastika. Bornt on the 1924, he had several emblems from the Hitlerjugend and a collection of german sabers and Krismarine daggers. Interestingly enough, he lived a good life, was very friendly towards everyone, married a spaniard, had offsprings and died from a heart attack, but above all else, he was a good man.

Still we must to blame him? Do he owe us something? Nope. The war ended time ago, and when a war ends and you start a new life as a normal citizen, mistakes from the past are forgived (and so are pretended). Whatever, I just hope all soldiers from all the wars stops for a moment to write journals about their experiencies. It is true that sometimes these experiences are hard to swallow and to refloat them, but, they teaches us from their single prism how much blinded are the ignorants of today who preffer to yell at you without listening to a single word.

It is sad to lose history. Saddest is to repeat it...
